Story

Lennox came to us as a rescue dog in the summer of 2003. Us is Ragnhild, Bjoern, the Mastiff Bobby, the Beagle Mike and the Schnauzer Fen. Lennox had already had his third birthday when he came to our place. We already had three male dogs but Lennox adjusted and found his place quicly. The previous owners clearly had kept him in a way that had given the dog the impression that he was the boss! But Lennox quicly learned that the owner is the boss. Our other Mastiff, Bobby, also contributed with his calm appearance to mold Lennox into the kind of Mastiff that we want:
Lennox comes partly from the same line as Bobby, but has a broader head and a more muscular body, without being fat. He is now 8,5 years old, and still in great shape.

We have always been of the opinion that all dogs must be trained to use their body, also the Mastiff. This results in a better quality of life and a longer life, which again results in that we can keep our dogs until their are grey and wise.

Lennox moves lightly and good, so our training have always been easy and a pleasure to do. We alternate between walking and running alongside the bicycle, even now at an age of 8,5 years.

Dog shows was not an issue when we got Lennox, so we have not entered him at many shows. But the year from the Norwegian Mastiff Clubshow in 2007 to the Norwegian Mastiff Clubshow in 2008 have been a fantastic journey. At the Clubshow in 2007 he became BOB and Best in Show, even if he came from the Veteran Class.
In the Norwegian Winner Show 2007 (Norwegian Championship) he also became BOB, but he also ended up as the 4th Best in Group 2, which must be the best result ever in Norway by a Mastiff.
In Stockholm, Sweden, he gained his Swedish CAC and became Swedish Champion in December 2007.
At the World Dog Show 2008, also in Stockholm, Sweden, he became the World Vetran Winner 2008. In the Veteran Final, where 40 to 50 of the World Winners from Group 2 and 4 competed, he was choosed as one of the ten best, but he was not placed as one of the top four.
At en International Dog Show in August 2008 he again became BOB:
And at the Norwegian Mastiff Clubshow at the 23rd of August 2008 he ended this fantastic year with a placement as the 2nd Best Male, BOB Veteran and the award of Best Movement at the show.

Lennox has also sired two litters of Mastiff puppies in this past year.

Lennox is a fantastic family-dog, which we hope will still cary on for several years.
