Story

Last year in December I had to put my old crossbreed Rocky to sleep and soon I realized that it would be impossible for me to continue without a new friend by my side. I was not certain what the next breed should be, but after careful thought I finally decided on Tibetan Mastiff. This is a breed that has been on my mind and in my heart for many years, mostly because of their beauty and the feeling of myth and mystery that surrounds them.
Due to the fact that this is a rather rare breed in Sweden I looked outside our country for puppies and found a little boy in the Czech Republic. The first pictures of him melted my heart and I knew then that he was mine, or should I say, that I was his.
He arrived by plane and landed in Denmark where I picked him up together with my family. Then we drove back to Sweden and opened the cage. A fluffy little boy peered out, took a careful step onto the grass and then raised his tail over his back and gave me a big kiss. "I'm home, mommy!" is what he said.
Later I was told by another TM-owner that the one who opens the cage is the one the TM picks as his saviour, and this is very true in Zodd's case. He wants to be with me every hour of the day, and he's always watching me, looking to see if he should get himself ready for an adventure.
Zodd loves his family above everything else and as long as they are around he is content. He worships other dogs and wants to play with everyone, even the mean ones. People are not as easily trusted, but if they bring a dog with them they are alright in his eyes.
Zodd is a loved member of our family and a great guardian of our home. He brings joy into my life every day with the walks we take, the games we play and the humorous situations he gets himself into.
I now live with the myth and mystery under my roof and it's an experience I treasure.
Zodd is still a puppy with a lot to learn about life and I am honoured to walk that path with him.
