We had always wanted a Frenchie, and a year after our dear Boxer passed away we decided the time was right to add a Frenchie to our family. At the time we were living in Zurich, Switzerland. We did some research on the internet and found a breeder in Austria who had puppies available. There was only one left... I guess she was the runt -but I would have chosen her anyway! We drove to Austria to pick up our little girl and it was love at first sight.
She is a very well travelled little girl, having holidayed in Italy, France, Germany, and of course many, many places in Switzerland. She now lives iwth us in Cape Town, South Africa, and loves her new home. She loves walking (in cooler weather) on the mountain, on the beach and her favourite doggy park - De Waal Park. She lives in relative harmony with her brother Molly, who is a pink Sphynx kitty.

When Phoebe was 2 she developed glaucoma and had to have her right eye removed. She wasn't a bit put out, and if anything, it only serves to make her even cuter somehow! She is very well known in our area, and often people come up to chat to her.. they know her by name -she has a large fan base!!
