Story
We now have had the pleasure to have Miki del Malapensiero in Norway for almost one year.
The story of Miki is not a sunshine story for the first two years in his life. Miki had 5 different homes in Italy until we a morning received a
telephone call from Napoli where the breeder Ciro Galifouco had seen Miki and heard his story. Ciro asked us if we were willing to have this two year old
very powerful male, that everybody was afraid.
We have a long experience with the Mastino, and we are also experienced when it comes to taking over adult males and females. When we received pictures
of Miki we both agreed that we should go to Napoli to see if we could find a solution. Miki is very well shaped, and in our opinion, very valuable for
our breeding program. Many breeders in the Mastino realize one of the large problems in the breed today; short bodies. This affects the dog's construction
and hind, dyplasy, movements, and in addition is is not correct according to the standard.
Enzo travelled to Napoli and fell in love with Miki at once, so the import papers to Norway war brought in order right away.
Miki has from the first day been wonderful with us, with no problems. He rolls over to his back to be cuddled, and only shows affection to his new masters.
We want to thank our good friend Ciro for his kindness to contact us when Miki were going to change home again, and one thing is certain;
Miki will never again change home, he will stay at our place for the rest of his life!
Miki is now Norwegian Champion and has given us some fantastic puppies, a so a great thank you and a huuuuge hug goes to Miki as well.
