Story
This is Ozo, our second TM in a heard of three. We found him when we searched for a puppy from the bloodlines of
Drakyi Senge Sundari, a dog that I fell in love with during a travel to Czech republic. Ozo is grandchild to THE
Senge and we had big hopes for him being just like his grandpa.
Ozo was named Dar Shing Jo Jo. Dar shing is his kennelname and Jo Jo means big brother in Tibetan.
That is a very good name since he really was the biggest and oldest brother in a litter of eight puppies.
We named him Ozo as petname. A name that is made out of the Spanish word for Bear (Oso) and the strong Greek
liquor Ouzo. It is a perfect name for a dog both cuddly and strong.
At the age of 1,5 year Ozo is a medium sized TM of 67 cm and 45 kg. Like all other TM he likes to take his own decisions.
He will come when called, but only if it suits him. He is smart and can count things out on his own. He is very friendly
to both other dogs and especially to children. A Tibetan Mastiff guards his territory and so does Ozo and if things
seems to be strange he calls for us two legged creatures with a deep, frightening bark.
Ozo has, as all TM needs to be, been trained from very young age in all various surroundings for socialising.
Even if he is a perfect family dog his heritage from ancient days in Tibetan freedom is clearly visible in both
appearance and behaviour.
When it snows, Ozo stays out for hours and hours. He like long walks, patrolling his surroundings, not in a hurry but more
in a contemplarily way. Why rush, the world is still there! Those words seemes to be his motto. On the other hand,
he can be quick as a lizard if there is need to guard or need to scare someone off. Ozo, the strong and cuddly is
our sofa potato.
You might wonder if he inherited his grandpa’s attitude and mentality. Ozo has got a lot of nice ancestors but,
I must say he is peaceful as his mother and mighty, self assure and aloof as his grandfather. We are not disappointed.
He is a dog with charm and charisma and we love him.
