Story
This is Zeuss, the youngest addition to our family. His name is a slight play-on-words from my wife's childhood i.e.
"Dr. Seuss" = Seuss = Zeuss. Zeuss looks like a giant teddy-bear and is by far the most affectionate dog I have ever known.
Great with children or other dogs, Zeuss is a hit with all the neighbours and kids from nearby homes often call to
see if he is "playing out"!
Zeuss may not be the biggest Rottweiler at around 45 Kgs, but he is more than big enough to stop an
intruder should the need arise. Our window cleaners can testify to his ferocity when challenged,
although I must stress he was very pleased to meet them AFTER we had properly introduced him to them!
Zeuss never barks without call and is extremely relaxed around the house, nothing like our other dog -
A black Labrador named Mars. He will run when you want to run or rest when you want to rest and simply wants
to be with us regardless of the activity. Ultimately, we love Zeuss to bits and wish we'd bought a Rotty sooner.
In our opinion Rottweilers are one of the most versatile breeds able to cope with most types of environment.
Give them a little love and some firm discipline and you will receive nothing but love from these wonderful
black and tan guardians!
