I am very proud to present my DDB Ti Amo, also called Meeko :o)
I got Meeko home when he was nearly 4 months old. I saw him the first time when I picked up his two sisters 8 weeks old, and already at that time I could see that he was something very special. I feel in love with him right away, but his breeders wanted to keep him by them self, no matter how much I begged to take him with me home, there was nothing to do. They were hard, but I could not blame them....they could of course also see how lovely and beautiful a boy Meeko was, and still is :o)
But suddenly I got the offer to buy him, and as you can imagine, the decision was not difficult at all, so I picked him up the same weekend Carole wrote and asked me :o) The reason why Carole and Renato could not have him anymore was be course it did not work out between Meeko and his dad, and when things already is like that so early on, then it probably will not get any better.
I am so very grateful to Carole and Renato for letting me have him. I know, that there was a lot of other people who had a big interest in him. So..., a big thank you to the family Cnudde :o)

Meeko is really a great looking dogue, and he has the most lovely temper. He is so full of fun and games, and he makes a lot of that. He is a very big, strong and powerful boy, but he is so calm and gentle no matter where we are, and who you are. He takes everything with an outstanding calm, and to take an example, when we are on exhibitions, he just throw him self on the back with all 4 legs in the air, and then people - adults as children - just has to cuddle him on his stomach, and it is the best if they will do it for hours!

Meeko just don’t now how big he is, he crawls on you when he feel like it, in bed, in sofa or on the floor...he loves to sit on the lap no matter where it is or where you are :o)
Meeko is living together with 3 more Dogue de Bordeaux. One female and two males. Meeko is the youngest, but that is not a problem. It is totally okay with him, that my oldest male is the boss...besides me of course!! I am the Boss number one, and all dogs knows that. They are all in the house together, they eat and sleep together, and that is how I want it to be. Here I don’t have any dogs in separate rooms or in cages.
We are on one daily walk, were the dogs can run without leash, and fool around, run and play all that they want. That walk is at least on one hour, and often longer. They love the water, so the trip is often to the beach were they can swim and play in the sand :o)

Meeko is now 2,5 years old. He is all that I ever dreamed about for a dogue of this breed, an he is a very fine representative for the breed, in all kinds. He is very healthy, he has HD B - elbows 1, he has all his teeth, he has been heart examinated with no remarks, he has a very good sperm quality, and he has, like I wrote before, the most incredible temper and mentality. He is moving like a dream, and that is quite a bit outstanding with his 83 kg. :o)
Meeko is truly a beautiful and good looking boy, and in the show rings in Denmark as well as outside of Denmark he is really doing great. Just to mention a bit of his doing here and there: He got excellent and was placed as the 3. best intermediate male (out of 31 dogs in his class) on the French Club Match in Ham 2004. In Germany he is also doing very very good, he became JUGENDSIEGER BERLIN 2004, and he has for now got 2 V1 and on the World Dog Show in Dortmund 2003 he got Vv in the puppy-class (the puppies was not placed further).
He is at the moment DANISH, SWEDISH, NORWEIGIAN, NORDIC and INTERNATIONAL Champion, and he his just 2,5 years old. I'm sure that there is much more for him to win out there, and that he will get very far in time, so we will continue our travelling around the world at the dog shows.
Meeko is also not fully developed, and he will not be finish ”growing” within 3 or maybe 4 years of age.

I have planned to go to exhibitions this year in Germany, one more time in Sweden, one in France, and of course on all the shows here in Denmark. BUT you never know.....
Meeko is also the proud father to 4 litters. 2 litters in Denmark, 1 litter in Sweden and 1 litter in Germany. He hopefully will be the father to one more litter in Sweden and one more in Denmark very very soon :o)
